The WindChimes are so colorful and the sound of all that is hung sounds like a song. You’ll find a basket full of pink Tai fish paper mache made good fortune charms for purchase. The entire shrine grounds have WindChimes everywhere. One of a kind festival for you to enjoy.
You can spend the whole day in Kawagoe as it is famous for its old Japanese architecture. All the main streets and the shops are all in old homes and old style warehouses, strolling around the main street and on the side roads you can experience how people used to live and the experience can be felt only an hour away from Tokyo.
